Same author that wrote Way of Choices. I love Way of Choices, but I hate the way it's written. If he has written this novel in the same way as Way of Choices. I might actually steer clear of it because it's absolutely infuriating.

I like Way of Choices, but the plot is usually concealed between all the dialogue between people. At this point, in the story (currently), I don't even know what's going on other than disputes. Hopefully this novel isn't shrouded in bunch of mysteries.

Way of Choices is a good book, we are like the protoganist, who has no idea why people are conspiring against him and the reason slowly reveals itself, maybe the problem is its unraveling very slowly.

I hope you enjoy it, but I'm not willing to commit myself to get interested in a story that's as long-winded and "fake mystical" as way of choices again.

your weird I like the Way of Choices because of its uniqueness as a chinese novel. He drifted away from the typical Azure Dragon thingy / Fighting get strong fight another strong / harem thingy. The author tend to make things complicated and slow. I guess your not a fan of his lifeline statements.

Is it just me or the people complaining about Way of Choices are those who prefer to be spoon fed with everything? The plot in Way of Choices is pretty obvious and as long as you read the conversations without skipping around, you'll understand everything. I dont even see which part of the plot is considered a mystery?

nah, maybe you're just extraordinary. I on the other hand am a normal person, i got about 400 chapters into way of choices and it was just so tedious to read. I admit, I do enjoy the novel, but I have to read 3 or 4 chapters BEFORE I start enjoying the novel. For me, it's like letting a car warm up on a cold day before driving it. I don't like having to wait in order to get interested. And I suppose you are right, I guess I do like to be "spoon fed" everything. Call me crazy, but having to sit and think for 5 or 10 minutes to understand one paragraph in one chapter that has over 1.5k words in it, all because I decided to skip over another single paragraph in another previous chapter 5 chapters ago is really stupid. Especially in a chinese novel that is so over the top with it's pointless mysticism and chinese mythology that it barely makes a lick of sense all on it's own. Anyone that can read Way of Choices and not get absolutely bored out of their fucking mind, confused out their fucking mind, and can actually understand and follow the complex interpersonal relationships and dialogue has my full and undying respect, I salute you, you are most definitely better than me.

Haste makes waste. For serious novels like Way of Choice, the more you skip, the less you enjoy it. Unlike some random power trip novels, every sentence in Way of Choice is written with a purpose. Each and every sentence progresses the story slowly. Think of Way of Choice’s plot progression as a slope, constantly going upward, while other novels are like stairs, jumping forward every paragraph or even chapter. It is tedius if you’re on a slope and you keep trying to jump as if you’re on a stair. Take a walk and it’s a much more pleasant experience.
