a novel more concerned about the management of various people than actually intelligent story-telling. most of the middle ream of this novel revolves around MC saving various relatives, random chicks he meets, and ect... if youre expecting a great adventure full of the exploration into the unknown, dungeon diving, and epic martial arts you've come to the wrong town. the novel tricks you though, the first 500~ or so chapters are really well done, the interactions between the MC and various people FEELS natural, and it takes a grim dark tone that sets you up for a truly intellectual story. but when the MC starts saving all those people, you know youve stepped on a turd, that is more concerned with happy-endings than having an ***** conversation with consequences for actions. a true shame, nothing real here, all intellectually bankrupt.

LIKEGot to around 999 chapters and just had to stop since it's just moving ridiculously slow padded with alot of nonsense dialogues and busy bodying of either the mc or some important figure. Cultivations level of mc moves slow as fck too it's not even funny. At 999 he still hasn't reach the emperor level.
yeah that never really stops even up until the end. it's the go to example for wasted potential.
What destroyed it for me is the rampant use of tournaments in this novel that last so fcking long. At 999 I think we've had like 3-4 long as fck tournaments and it's just excruciatingly bad to read
