With all these bad reviews before the novel was even translated is causing this novel to be buried and not allowing more readers to see its colors. This novel is another OP reincarnation type novel. However, the MC wasn’t the strongest in terms of fighting in his past life, but was a renowned alchemist. He was lucky to have found a supreme cultivation technique that required him to die physically and live in spirit form for 1000 years(?) to comprehend a layer. Overall this novel is a good read; the character building of the main character(s) is sufficient to enough so the readers aren’t lost on whose actually relevant in the novel and not elaborating too much on the side(small) characters. A lot of novels here make this mistake of elaborating too much on side characters that end up being forgotten as the novel goes through different arcs. Bear in mind that the MC will always be OP since he has a lot of knowledge in his past life which in turn becomes a sort of plot armor for him. However this is also due to the fact that he also found an OP cultivation technique thus increasing his fighting prowess and potential in this new life of his. There’s enough here for readers to gain interest and have an enjoyable read. For those of you lacking in stones, add this novel so you can read it while collecting more. Cheers!

Thanks for the review without spoiling the story and helping me gain some interest in this. I initially used the rating system to find good story to read but now I see that it's wrong to solely use the untrustworthy rating system on here. Qidian moderators need to somehow purge the stupid and useless reviews. After reading a more chapters I will also write a review because I totally agree with you that this was buried by idiots who didn't even read it and had the audacity to give it a low rating, bunch of morons who abuse the rating system.
Yeah, please do write a review. This novel is a solid 4 stars at least, even though it’s true that it is similar to some of the highly popular Chinese novels of the past but it has its own perks. And let’s be honest, it’s a Chinese thing - almost all Chinese novels that has something to do with cultivation is similar. People don’t understand that because of similarities it makes it easy to understand new novels and gain popularity. Unique novels are hard to write and authors can run into many problems including not gaining enough interest in its initial release due to it being hard to understand since everything is “new” and unique. Why novels follow the same ‘guidelines’ is due to ‘us’ the readers; authors mostly write for the readers and what the readers wants. Seeing that these types of novels are popular, they make something similar while adding their own flavors to the mix.
Just read something else pls. Lord of Mysteries, Experimental Log of the Crazy Lich, 40 millenniums of cultivation, kingdom’s bloodline, are good choices. Just not another reincarnated immortal who face slaps everyone and destroys sects by flinging his hand. Wow sect existed for 10000 years and MC walks in and it is destroyed in 20-50 chapters. It’s just so bad and cliche. Cliche’s are ok when executed well but this looks like any other generic cultivation power fantasy. I read the first 15 chapters don’t lie to me.
