Most things in scheming and inner workings of the world are nicely done. Lots of smart people, excluding Mc, as even thou the Author is portraying Mc as smart and cunning, he is anything but. The reason is simple, he is Demonic cultivator, and that means he is an idiot, because only Rightious cultivators can be truly cunning. Mc just acts antisocialy, and too arrogantly, for having 500 years of experience he for some reason was unable to understand thats its always better to have ally then enemies. In essence even thou the author is portraying him as cunning and shrewd, he is just an idiot that makes everywhere he goes enemies.

well, that's not earth in that world one person can control the lives of billions of people. one person can have more power than nuclear weapons in that weak dies strong survives. good and kind people are first to die,only cunning and evil people survive. mc doesn't need Allies because he knows he can be a one man army. he knows allies will drag him down. You are fool to not understand the mc's doing
Do you know why armies are built even thou we have nuclear weapons ? Its because one person/weapon cannot be at multiple places, too much destruction, and time to collect resources, why else build sects? Also even in such world, one just cannot fight against numbers indefinetly, as it was said they are energeticaly constantly depleted and need to get their energy from some source and when you have thousands of enemies that are just level lower you will eventually loose. Also humans are humans because of their brain and ingenuity, so eventually even if he was at the peak they would find a way to kill him.

Don't worry. Majority people hate this LN because they can't understand FY and simply see him as evil and stupid. 2nd major reason because they find GUs system are stupid. Both are huge misunderstanding for them. They simply fail to interpret the actual essence. I'm gonna admit, there was a lot of time I disagree with FY decision. Unless you put yourself in his shoe, you won't get it. Even if u get it, u still think some of his decisions are bad. They are. He is a human. By no mean he is perfect and make 100% best decision every time. Circumstances are bigger than man. Short-term benefit or long-term gamble? Only FY can decide what's best for him, limited to his knowledge.
