MC strugles are non exsistant with his knowledge. MC is unrelatable to reader making it borring. You arnt hoping for his success, cause he has nothing to fight for other than get stronger? MC is evil meaning he just strait up kills people including killing a slave clan father and daughter infront of eachother after getting what hevwanted from them because hes wants to be sure they tell no one he was there? inevitably becoming unchallened by the end making the plot predicably pointless. Author world isnt explained well. A bug system that makes you stronger ( eg. Iron Gu makes your skin tough) but u still need to feed them? Wrote this cause i needed a review that wasnt paid for that says the same thing and description is too trash to tell if this is something you're looking to read.

Heaven's will is similar to an intelligent being and tries to scheme against FY since he is transmigrated and doesn't belong to this world. FY consistently faces problems above his level yet he overcomes them through his schemes . You are completely right about MC being unrelatable. He disregards his own humanity. Nothing stands in the way of his ambition. The consistency of MC's character makes this book so damn addicting. An MC who focuses on his grand goal and aims to achieve it at any cost. But he is not always evil. If doing something peacefully gets him the greatest gains then he wont resort to a violent option. You are not hoping for his success because he just wants to get stronger. You hope for it because he has an impossible and admirable goal of eternal life. You learn to love the character because of his indomitable will in the face of the greatest difficulties. The entire world is against MC and wishes for his demise but MC only has his goal in his eyes. This plot, one against the world, is such a thrill in my eyes. Becoming the strongest at the end of the plot, wait isn't this like almost all the plots of Chinese / Korean novels ? You know the mc is going to be the strongest because duh he's the MC. Watching the process of MC becoming the strongest is what people enjoy in webnovels. "I can predict the MC is going to be strongest in the world so the plot is pointless" Huh what? The system is the best system I've seen in regards to cultivation. I've read more than 10 novels with cultivation realms that are so standard, so boring, and it goes like this: qi cultivation, foundation building, core cultivation etc. Others have small changes but they are still the same. Gu cultivation is the most detailed system out of all the (Chinese) cultivation novels out there. Author explains things extremely clearly so if you're not dumb you should get it... He even explains the same old shi t multiple times across the chapters because he knows the disadvantages of webnovel system where people forget easily. He merges his own mc plot with legend of ren zu extremely well. I can't imagine the size of authors brain because of this, and also the size of his balls writing about such an anti-authority/anti-system character when he lives in authoritarian communist china and posts to a Chinese novel site. Yes the description of this novel is utter crap. There was a much better one but I don't know where it went

Tell me any mc who has to cut his ears, gets schemed to death even with his iq, skin himself full body, forced to be zombie, and literally lose his own physical body to enemies after rebirth.
Your review makes no sense. How far have you read? Fang Yuan is constantly being schemed against and he takes losses all the time. You also complain about him being evil, when it literally says in the synopsis that he's a villain and "ruthless and amoral." As far as feeding the Gu, it's a whole part of the cultivation system later on.
