First of all, this story should have a comedy tag. And ironically it took me about 40+ chapters to find something that made me laugh. Writing and translation seems good. Bad the story gets boring for me. The MC is an unlucky loser who is here just to get tortured, berated, humiliated, abused and discarded. He is worth nothing. Even though he wants to gain strength, he is such a lowlife. I feel like author is using the suffering MC and illogical, just for gag, unusual, never before seen, Unwanted AI for no particular reason just to make it funny. Which I feel is a horrible thing but passable due to it's jerky attitude. The story reminds of Japanese MC whom I hate because they are spineless and abused most of the time. Church also adds to that JP novel feel. Critically just read to pass time. Leave your logic somewhere else before reading. And prepare for a loser MC.

It's different from usual format but I felt it has a heavy Japanese taste. Sadly the writing quality is good and even villain are given some backstory. I personally did not like the MC and the stupid AI. You should try and see for ur self. You might like it. I dropped pretty early on so both sure how it is later on
badly, if the mc is given more power than it currently has, it would be too much op. In this novel you have to be patient, because at first it will be a little boring but then it will give you a pleasant surprise with a surprising twist in the plot that will make you ask if it is the same story you have read. If you have patience you will find a jewel.

In fact I love how is the mc (I'm tired of mc proud that they believe the center of the world, although technically they are, but still a little humility at the right times will not harm anyone) Well, that's in my personal taste. 😊

Haha. Commenting about how the current chapter is in the 600's and comparing how my opinion was based till chapter 44 is extremely foolish. Because my review was from 9-10 months ago when the chapters were below 100. I tried to read it through but the stupid AI and the MC's experiences were so horrible to me, The comic stuff were so dull and weird. I do not remember too much but heard the story started to develop later. Here is one comment I put in lesserWrath's review. "Stupid comic stuff ruins the other wise potential story. The only thing that made me laugh is in Ch40+ when the AI switched his mage training memory with jerking off lol." Did not get a chance to continue after that.

9 months ago the chapters were around 145, I believe. Though I overlooked when your comment was posted, if the only thing you found funny in 44 chapters was truly "when the AI switched his mage training memory with jerking off" then I'll agree this probably isn't the type of novel for you, might wanna give a Harem novel a shot instead.
bs review, the MC suffers like this only at the begining, one has to start somewhere to improve, from a ****ty misfit to a revolutionist badars!

most of the times it'e the savior type of mc and other typical sh.it. The only novels where the mc acts arrogant is mostly in chinese novels. Imagine having to read 600 chapters to realize you don't like the mc or story (People always act as if you can't form an opinion early on)

Well, this review is ****ty beyond redemption. MC comes to the new world without memories of host body and without a cheat(AI has almost zero PROs throughout the story). And you whine that he was abused in 1st 5% of the chapters under such conditions?))) Well, this story is definitely not a top tier, but at least above average. It gets really better and better after MC gets out of the capital, he becomes no pushover, gains some powers, establishes his own force, etc. The plot and magical system are interesting. No harem, which is a huge plus for me, but sadly no romance at all. No young masters surprised that he kills them because they tried to kill 1st. No cheat AI system, and although MC's powers are some sort of cheat itself - they are organically incorporated in world's magic system and its history, moreover not unique to him in the story. The plot, despite being church vs mages cliche is interesting and becomes better and better with different twist, unexpected revelations, etc plus it has a good ending with all loose ends tied up.
