Currently my favourite active book. I am a big fan of all the Er Gen works and Pursuit of Truth does not fail to deliver. Containing the mystery and flavour of Er Gen's I Shall Seal The Heavens and the doom and gloom of Renegade Immortal, Er Gen has succeeded in creating a book that in the future can proudly stand at the forefront of the Chinese Immortal Genre. There are elements of humour to it, but it is nothing like AWE. They have polar opposite paths despite similar goals.
