I don’t know why would the author want the MC to be this dumb? It starts very nice even though he is not a genius at least he still have brains in the early chapter. The current chapters just make him a dumb MC. Trying to antogonize a family that is considered the strongest in the area? Refuse the help of ming yu just because of a hunch? Seriously!! If he is not the mc of the story he should ne dead by now. Remember how the bai family was explained they are the strongest and can so anything they like. Just the mere fact of what he did to the young miss of bai family they can kill him without question. He’s only protection is that he is the MC.... its better if he has a plot armor which we can say the reason he survive till now. No plot armor and still survive we can only link that becuase he is the MC which is unjustifiable for the story.... sorry I just got frustated because i really like the start of the LN. I hate how the plot became pretty weak and ****** the MC this dumb.

I guess the author might want him to grow. Character development. Otherwise if his state of mind remains the same like many other novels (being smart at the start), it gets kind of repetitive and it will be just another novel. I think this is refreshing. Not all main characters have to be smart. Just like not all pretty girls need to have big boobs and a slim body (just an analogy)
I understand your point. I just plainly hate how he was arrogant but does not have the skills to be arrogant. If the author want him to grow he needs a plot armor or a support that is strong enough to protect him until he is strong enough or a genius level MC. Honestly if you put yourself in a world like this it is impossible to survive without support. (No man is an island)... 🤓

Yep i have read till 211 and it doesnt change a little bit. He is still extremly dumb !!! Normally as reader u can expect a mc with average IQ. He musnt be extremly smart or the like...but at least not utterly mentally retarded ...he seems like some kid out of a mental asylum!!! So arguments of the ppl who say ...they like to see how this mc isnt smart like other novels ...srsly to like this mc i am more then speechless ! When u want a mc growing up from zero to hero pls make at least normal healthy decision even in the beginning! They must not be smart but at least a 15 year old boy befitting !.... So to all trying to read this novel be careful even until chapter 211 he doesnt change make stupid decision one after another....and doesnt grow up... even a bit...its the exact opposite ..everytime as reader you await it might change...it grows worse.... Anyway GL to us who started this and might start it in the future !
I agree this mc is almost brain dead. If he wasnt mc he wouldnt have lasted till now. I feel that he wont be able to do anything on his own without others help throughout this novel.

How can he grow up if he does not survive? Based on how the author describe the bai family he would be dead right now if he is not the MC.

You and I have a very different understanding of plot armor. Based on your concept he does not need weapon, armor, techniques and other stuff to survive He just need to be the mc. so your saying he does not need to practice and stuff because he already has the ultimate plot armor. For me plot armor need to be something outside of him being the MC which help him survive and I don’t see that in this novel.

Once he gets stepped on, he's never gonna grow up as an emperor. You should not yield. You should be diplomatic and unyielding if you want to assert yourself

Plot Armor is when a main character's life and health are safeguarded by the fact that he's the one person who can't be removed from the story.-plot armor definition He still need to practice and all those stuff, the MC doesn't really know he has plot armor does he? xD Having reread your review and your reply now, the blatant manipulation of the author and his dubious way of writing the events, I see your frustration with the story. It's the deus ex machina after deus ex machina. Anyways, thanks to your review and sacrifice, I won't have to go through that same thing. You described in your review what I abhor the most from MC's, and you see the author keep mentioning how smart the MC is, lolxD.

I still want to know what he did in his 15 years of life to be so different from his sister, I do not know what goes on in the mind of the author mc owed at least be a good hunter.
