One of my favorite novels to date. MC is not that OP, diligent, and doesn't have a scheming character which is a refreshing surprise. Endearing at its finest and his achievements will make you feel like a proud mother hen. Author has a reputation regarding world building from his other novels so there is much to look forward for this one. Translation quality is nice and translator team is superb with regards to updates. I just hope the translated quality will stay consistent since it seems different person are handling the translating and editing per chapter. Thank you Fang Xiang and the translator team for bringing this novel to light! :)

Uh, how sure are you that this novel is good... pardon my intrusion but I really love reading, but I hate reading cap the most... and your ratings and reviews are encouraging, so please can you rate the novel overall on a scale of 1 to 100? thank you

I too enjoyed this novel, but sometimes you need a little patience, because this story progresses slower than your average Chinese novel. All in all though it's a really good read for beginners.

I love reading too! I've read many novels and stories so I'm confident to declare that this is a gem. Story + translation, personally i would say, a 90. It has a slow start though, and mostly sweat and comedy at the beginning. Remaining grade of 10 is dependent on how well the plot progresses hehe. No love stuff, just pure shounen for now as I see.

Yes it got so slow that the first translator of this actually dropped it. But we are resilient and patient so we ended up loving the story! Kudos to you fellow daoist~

True, I also enjoy his world building. Though you might want to forwarn those who haven't read anything by him, that he is notorious for horrifically bad endings (or lack there of).

If MC is not OP, diligent, or scheming, then does that mean he is weak, lazy, and the opposite of clever (foolish)? If so, then the warning about a bad ending would make sense...since I cannot fathom such a character meeting a good end.

I m not gonna read this **** if the MC is not OP. I was doubtful at first seeing that the MC only has metal affinity nothing else. Even a weak MC as ang in avatar.he still had four elemental affinity.

if you are looking for a bad ending by some Weak MC, naive MC. then this trash is gem to you.
