It starts out, as most Chinese novels do, with a downtrodden, out of luck MC who suddenly receives good fortune in the shape of a wizard's hat shaped Virtual Reality helmet. The good point is that he needs to work to gain skills that can then be applied in real life but... it feels that his power progression is a bit rapid. On the other hand, the story is very well written and the emotional scenes are conveyed terrifically. It will be interesting to see how well the story eventually develops. I must commend the translator for such a good production. The use of language and expression are perfect plus the writing is enrapturing and drawing. On the whole, i recommend reading it for a bit of a Sci-fi / Wuxia twist.

LIKESo far... It is difficult to say... I believe that it has the possibility of developing that way but... the protagonist hasn’t shown much outward signs if affection to anyone else except his late brother’s sister. His focus is pretty much on getting stronger and gaining worthy brothers. It might surprise us but the text is fluid and the style is different than usual.
