I've seen a lot of negative reviews lately, and most of them mention that the readers barely got past Chapter 10. This is my first fanfic/novel, so I know there's a lot of inconsistency and mistakes in the timeline, like why Marcus is there and so on. When I read some of your comments pointing out these mistakes, I did try to improve. I've done some research and made changes, even though I didn't have to, because this is free, and I originally wrote it because I was bored. But since some of you really like it, I thought, "Why not improve it?" So, I did. Now, about my earlier mistakes: I want to rewrite them, but I haven't had the time. I still keep seeing multiple bad reviews because of it. Maybe this fanfic/novel is just that bad. If so, I might just drop it. I know it's unfair to those who like this novel and want to see it continue, but I'm tired of all the negativity. This is free, and I've been trying to improve. I don't want to waste my time watching videos on how to improve the story and doing research just for people to keep hating on it. Like they say, "A diamond is just a chunk of coal that did exceptionally well under pressure" — but in this case, the coal crumbled under too much pressure. I guess I crumbled.

I was really excited for a Hajime no Ippo fanfic, however this story has a major flaw. by now, the webnovel culture should be familiar to most readers, and everyone should have heard about the "Bob Uchiha" effect. it's when author gives really abd names that doesn't fit the world or story. this is one of those stories, and it totally breaks immersion and makes it hard to read. The first chapter was good but couldn't read more than that because the MC is the brother of Ippo and his name is Alex Makunouchi.... just give him any generic Japanese name, and that would be okay, even something like Toyota Makunouchi is better than Alex. I think we as readers shouldn't accept this mistake and refuse to read until the author corrects this. when webnovel was new, these types of mistakes could be accepted but by now, after many years, everyone knows about the Bob Uchiha effect, and it should no longer be tolerated. Author, your story really seems good, so please fix this!

Idk why a lot of ppl are hating on this fic, some people say the name doesn’t fit when it doesn’t really matter and his parents aren’t both Japanese his mom was Irish so it actually could happen they also say his attitude and that he’s arrogant when .. bro with the template he has I would be arrogant too why would I read a fanfic to read another ippo being honest and boring and also being arrogant is the best way to get known in sports like fighting cause everyone wants to see you lose after you talk smack you can tell he’s not actually a bad person when he talks about how he want to make life better for his aunt. I just hope the author doesn’t drop cause a lot of authors are scared to make fanfics on hajime no ippo due to how long and how much info they need to process and there aren’t a lot on the app im happy with this.

Not the worst thing I’ve ever started. It’s worth an attempt at reading, I just couldn’t get past the MCs personality. Incredible cockiness and arrogance even when he is bad a something. The English name when his character background shouldn’t have it shows this is a casual write without too much thought put behind it(which is fine) but not what I’m here for. Hope the author keeps writing since writing with a plan and writing without one makes a huge difference. I did the same with my first one when I wrote without thinking and didn’t know where to take it when it got some popularity.

Ngl, i read a few chapters and i think im gonna drop it. It's not bad, it just feels so redundant, the mc also is a cocky guy, the fights also feel dull. The name sucks too, alex lol. couldve just given him something generic.

I really like Hajime No Ippo, I'm glad you're doing this fanfic as it's making me entertained. It's really good and I really like the MC since his personality is really refreshing when comparing to some
