Overall an entertaining read until chapter 98. The quality of writing is OK, basic, with no uniqueness or flare, but legible. Update speed is alright as well. Story development is where it takes a hit, coming back to the "until chapter 98" part. The story just kind of died honestly. The initial premise is fascinating, and the progression doesn't feel too rush, though skipping over key experiments like the acquisition of the sharigan was a massive let down. It doesn't feel like he earned anything, there's just no weight to his actions. It comes of as awkward, where the story is stuck in this quagmire, wanting to progress yet lacking a foundation. The world feels incredibly small and underdeveloped. There are zero stakes driving the plot forward, his progression just feels wonky and stilted. It's missing a lot of what makes the world of Naruto fun. The battles suck, their shallow, basic and come off as childish. There is no depth to their fights, no one feels like a threat, and it leaves the reader feeling lost. Where is the excitement, the writing just kills the mood entirely, with its bland set up, and weak pay-offs. Overall an OK naruto fic, but the direction its taken is disappointing. 2.2 stars.
