until around chapter 8 it was good, then the story seemed to have gotten into a quick rhythm, Rias is a bit of an idiot in this work (I think it's the way she's written here) Issei is more idiotic than usual too, the protagonist is a bit... narcissistic? I was expecting more from the synopsis and the whole mission presented by the system.... but everything went to shit as soon as grayfia popped up since suddenly dude was making everyone his enemy then even his system just turned into EA and started milking him dry, some characters aren't even acting as they are in Canon and their whole personality seems intentionally villainified... also dude 'made' the elemental nations but so far they've been of little use to the plot, which is what originally interested me so yeah more of a missed opportunity and a let down alot of things could've been handled differently or done way better... for example dude is actively annihilating devil factions no problem and robbing every nation like wtf you're telling me no supernatural faction did not step in on something of this scale when the human world is essentially their sandbox??? anyways thays enough of that ig, hopefully author tries to fix this but this is just not my cup of tea... I was promised a naruto dxd AU and got served with attention whore (for pts) murder hobo itachi in dxd
