See it would be preferable if he could fight, i know it’s an investment system, but if you word as the system making that investment in him, giving him John Wick’s skill set would have been lovely. Yes it’s not always about fighting, but it also makes logical sense, he’ll cross people who could put a hit on him, if he could also fight that’s an investment from the system that’s worthwhile.

I would say the biggest problem is the system is bland, intriguing but not fleshed out as much, plus the DxD power system is well not the best, of course probably because i’m influenced highly by cultivation get pas the young master peng part, the system itself is great for expansion, same could be said for the mage system too, but the DxD power system is well dry, not actual versatility or if it’s there because I haven’t read the novel, well I can’t see it. Plus if you’ve got being who could sneeze away your planet, what’s a peerage system gonna do, could even use a deck of cards as a system, i know Issei would have 100% been the joker card

Tbh a Zanpakuto would gave made more sense given he use Senjutsu or has it at least, ain’t seen much magic yet. I’d really like (of course this is just personal opinion) for an MC to push Senjutsu to some great extent, well i guess you’d be pushing into cultivation/immortality etc, however it would be interesting, or at least seeing and MC in these DXD fanfics combining magic and Senjutsu.

You SHOULD definitely keep it going, only thing we as fans can offer is advice, make the Mc enigmatic like Victor, it’s okay to take bits and pieces but i want Mc to be memorable, plus make good use of the system as in make powers up his own effort with the system as the icing on the cake giving him abilities, also some training should be shown not just get system abilities and some random energies travels through his body. Ultimately I want to see him get strong, an instant ability every now and then is okay but at least he’s gotta train mastery. Anyways hood luck author and keep it going 👌🏾👌🏾

I dunno know about you author but if possible i’d keep the Mc original, just take the best traits of itachi then give em to Mc whilst the core of his being/personality/character should be who he was from his old world, otherwise you could just reincarnate itachi into DXD, i’m not pointing it out as a fault just you read many novels and Mc always fall into certain characters, the best example i can give is Victor Alucard or Elderblood now, he’s serious, he’s a pervert l, training and fighting freak, suave, funny but ultimately he’s just unapologetically himself. Your Mc doesn’t need to be like Victor or Itachi but take itachi’s best traits, give them to tje Mc and flesh out your own Mc. Well i hope that made sense anyways
