Good story so far from what I've read, but I have one major disconnect that is really holding me back from diving fully into it. That's the MC's name. He is called Alan Ford, which is about as far from an Asian name as it gets, so the repeat mention of him being Asian but called Alan Ford is making it really hard to fully dive in. It's a similar issue I have with some other translated works for example they will be in the naruto world but people are being called like Uchiha Xuan Yang or like Senju Jisong Wu it breaks the immersion and takes away from the story and makes it not only hard to read but hard to want to read. So, long story short, it's a good novel so far. My advice would be to make it make sense.

First and foremost the translation is on point. IRedX43 has so far done an amazing job. Gotta give credit to that. Now with the the actual story: The story so far (ch 42) is good if you can ignore the whole Chinese culture/People are the best. I know its a fanfic and you have to take everything with a grain of salt but there are a few things that are very unrealistic. You can tell right away that the writer doesn't know much about American life and culture, so if you can bypass that the story is enjoyable and interesting.
