All the characters are very one dimensional except the Mc who has slightly more character and the Mc is arrogant and extremely edgy. I don't know how to describe it other than that but it was a real struggle to read all of the chapters up to the current one. I feel like this was something I would have enjoyed when I was a a young teenager, but now the Mc just seems like an emotionally unstable person that doesn't understand himself and is just basing all his actions on 'would a free person to this' for literally every decision more important than going to the bathroom. It's to the point where the freedom he seeks has become the chains that bind him down. It's frustrating to read about someone so confused about who they are and what they want while also having the mentality of a young teenager.
