[Dropped at ch. 301] A Hollywood centric fanfiction starting from late 80s. Till ch. 301 only produced movies and acquired few film-related corporations. (As you know, chinsese novels drags story to heaven) Starts as great with the only flaw of a romantic relation with a 12-year-old girl. Later, I couldn't withstand any more due to mc's attitude towards women (a yes-man). Most of the female leads were just trouble, annoying and irritating, and poorly treated mc. Yet, he continued to give them benefits and chase after them instead of reprimanding. While most of film stuff takes around 70% of the story, the 30% nagging of fmcs are very frustrating. You can give it a try.

I'm writing this review as of chapter 683. Grammar: Excellent, the translator has done an excellent job at translating this story and I couldn't find many mistakes if any. Updating stability: Also excellent, from what I've seen the translator has already finished translating this novel. Story development: Only so-so. The story started very good and progressed very logicality and appealing, however from about chapter 150~ the MC started to do things that were very frustrating to read. His various actions gave the feeling he let people and mostly some female actresses exploit him way too much, and from chapter 400~ he even gave out blockbusters films scripts he knew from the future are going to succeed to other film companies to publish instead of publishing them himself. He gave out scripts like Mission Impossible, Men in Black, Jumanji, Forrest Gump, Night at the Museum, Mr. & Mrs. Smith etc, all those movies he gave to other people to publish and distribute, not because he couldn't direct and publish them himself, but for some stupid reason like his dream to rule Hollywood from behind the scenes. I honestly found myself very frustrated while reading from chapter 160~ but I continued reading because I also somewhat enjoyed the other parts in this novel and hoped to reach the part where the MC would release the superhero Marvel movies, but at chapter 683 I couldn't take the frustration and annoyance anymore which forced me to drop it. Character design: Extremely lustful, like very very lustful. To give you an idea how lustful he is I would just give part of the list of women he slept with till chapter 200: 1) Jennifer Aniston 2) Julia Roberts 3) Drew Barrymore 4) Virginia Madsen 5) Nicole Kidman 6) Gabrielle Anwar 7) Elisabeth Murdoch 8) Carey Lowell 9) Leigh Zimmerman 10) Famke Janssen 11) Jennifer Connelly 12) Joanna Pacuła 13) Diane Lane 14) Diane Lane 15) Elizabeth Fey 16) Claudia Schiffer 17) Penelope Cruz And many many more. World background: The author's research on the films and companies around the world as the years in the novel progress is nothing short of stunning and excellent, I frankly think this is the best part in this novel.

The is kinda like a wannabe Harvey Weinstein's wet dream. MC is unlikable & unsophisticated to say the least, he just straight up sexually assaults the actresses as soon as he gets the chance to be alone with them. All his Ideas are just stolen from the future with nothing of his own added to them, in fact they seem to be a little diminished under his hands despite it being written as otherwise.

Consistent updates, 40+ chapters per week highly sanitized of chinese. overall top tier translation. In the story, all the celebrities' personalities matches their real life counterparts, also you might get triggered about Simping for Jennifer Aniston and Drew situation, all that problems disappears by 150 or so chapters. tbh Drew was even more scandalous in real life and this is a Hollywood fic. also there are lot of historical facts too
