dairy writing type novels are always like this and there are very few able to complete. majority of them goes to hitus status
just let mc know that they can see his diary then it will be more interesting
Then it'll become a manipulative villain story and that puts a worse taste in the mouth.
not if you make it so if he lies he doesn't get rewards but he is aloud to be light in details but the more truthful and detailed the better the rewards so even though he knows they see it it wouldn't change much he could then play stupid when he sees them or tells them he knows they got a copy but as most peeps don't like MC who tell there secrets but this kind of story i think its ok no one but them can see the diary and he could earn good will from them and not seem manipulative so if they fall in love with him its not based off lies and half truths like how most these diary stories go or at the very least act dumb about it till they tell you they have one or when mc sees them doing something not like in the original have him say something about it in the diary like he is sus about the diary or something plenty of ways other then the norm ways these stories go unless its a villain story then its the opposite and he can lie and manipulate to his hearts content
