Sadly, this is the case for one Alexander Morgan as he wakes up in the simulated world of The Walking Dead with a mission.

Hey, guys. It's me again with something that has been growing and growing in my brain for the last couple of weeks.
So, what can you expect from this story? A lot of things and maybe some experimental things that I'm doing because I haven't seen it happen in here.
First of all, this is a crossover fanfiction. Starting from the Walking Dead telltale game. The focus will be on a original character. This is my attempt at trying to write something original, connect it to the plot, and then derail the plot. By original, I meant giving my OC a backstory INSIDE the world instead of the usual isekai bs. (Can already see some of you guys giving me 1 star after reading chapter 1. But please, patience lol.) I try to built it over a couple of chapters.
Secondly, on the topic of crossover, I want to keep my list secret cause otherwise it will be a spoiler. But the PROTAGONIST OR PEOPLE CLOSE TO HIM ARE NOT SAFE. I WILL KILL THEM. I've learned this from my Stranger Things Fanfic. But this won't be a dark story. I will try to keep it light. Yes, there will be gore and things, as expected from Walking Dead world. But it wont be the focus. (Mainly because it affects my mood. And also, if there is a dark chapter or two, know that I'm not doing well mentally. Which is why I want to keep it light.)
Thirdly, minor spoiler, this is not a isekai. This has no ROB bullshit. My believe is that using using ROB or "white-room with random guy" is one of the stupidest thing to do to throw away readers from your story amongst other things.
