The translation is fantastic and the original story is also!!! I love everything but if there is that is lacked it is the lack of description in the story and day to day life. The thing is you can't enjoy this story truly unless you already watched the original series. The reason is that the characters ain't really fleashed out and there is a lack slice of life type of scenes. Life MC saves his lover and family but except for the moment he saves them which is described. Later only a paragraph of three lines is shown to tell that they are gathered togather safely with the girl hanging of him!! Basically it is more like a picture we are given! For which a image will be worth more to describe it!! Basically what i want to suggest is that if the translator is confident then he showed write slice of life type of scenes. Basically a 100 or so words of filler or you could say expand such scenes. Because MC'S father is described many times but he hasn't have a single line of dialogue yet!! Like give us a scene in which he says how proud he is of MC etc!!! TLDR: The fanfic is great for those who have watched the series as things in original are just skimmed over so 5 stars but because of this for non fans this is only 3 stars. Unless the translator like many others edits the novel a bit! Then it will be 4.7 stars at least.
