Well i wanted the mc to have a fair fight with Tang san, it would be sad if he just died Douluo1 to 5 stories are written with him in center. All i can tell is Tang san will survive and fic will continue till Douluo dalu 5. But you Dont have to worry about slow grind to opness He will reach the begining stages of op during spirit master competition

I don't disagree with you sparing him, the problem was the stupid way it happened and the fact that a few chapters later the MC changed from not being able to kill humans to massacring even one who was just watching the fight. It would have been better to simply not have encountered Tang San a second time. Him not having the opportunity to kill Tang San would have had the same result but without the stupidity and bad plot.

As soon as the mc starts interacting with other beasts it becomes blatantly clear that he’s an idiot, there were points before that that revealed his low IQ before but the interactions with other spirit beast really show it off.
