You are partially correct. I still think you could have removed the racism and not detailed the sex scene without changing the plot or hurting the fic. I also believe that this arrogance was too extreme, no one likes annoying young masters who get offended by anything and immediately go for extreme punishments and you basically wrote an MC who acts like that. From a logical point of view and looking exclusively at the plot, your character being like this makes a certain amount of sense, but from a reader's or author's point of view, it doesn't make sense to write a main character using personality traits that are seen as unpleasant by the vast majority of readers. You could write an arrogant MC who dismisses inferiors without making him a young xianxia master. Despite this, I agree that giving two stars for these reasons wasn't very fair, I ended up lowering the rating too much because I felt very disappointed with the MC suddenly acting like a stupid xianxia asshole when I was enjoying the fic. The first chapter appears to have been was intentionally written in the most offensive way possible to upset as many readers as possible. An NTR sex scene right off the bat and a racist MC is really fucked up. After chapter 1 the story more or less stabilized with a very interesting concept and an MC who is not a good person but has good intentions, something like a less intelligent but a little less evil version of Leylin from WMW, but in chapter 19 he simply became a complete psychopath for no reason, he even started acting in the young master xianxia style by attacking and planning to kill and torture people for insulting him or making his back touch the ground. Seriously, if we ignore chapters 1, 19 and 20 this would even be a good fic to kill time, but these three chapters really screwed up the story in a way rarely seen.

I've been slowing down lately, but I still check it every now and then. It also has the classic problems of Chinese fics in terms of dialogue and character personality, but on the other hand it is a good translation for a fanfic. In short, it's an OK read as long as you're able to turn off your brain and ignore the errors in details and stupid characters.

This is crazy! Not even the best authors earn that much. Of course, good authors are rare, but at the end of the day, all the costs and risks are in the hands of the publisher.

It's truly a bore, one of the biggest I've ever seen and greatly worsened by the phenomenal level of stupidity in everything that happened during the attack. Coruscant having literally no type of planetary defense and leaving the senate completely vulnerable to a random terrorist attack, the Jedi masters and knights in the temple ignoring the fight and leaving everything to the MC, Yoda and the guards, the Jedi guards being weaklings dying to Chitauri, Thanos sending a single ship to the capital of the Republic expecting them to invade and leave successfully, them in fact successfully invading the capital of the Galactic Republic without being detected. The level of stupidity is unprecedented.

I like this author's fics, but I couldn't avoid giving this one a low rating. The idea is good, the beginning is very interesting but we are eventually hit with a series of stupid events that are impossible to swallow. Some of these events are: Thanos sending a ship with troops, Gamora and two of his main subordinates to invade Coruscant and recapture Nebula. It's easier to point out which part of this isn't stupid than what is, because it was all stupid. Thanos was never stupid, how the hell would he send a single ship to invade the republic's capital and expect them to succeed and escape the republic's territory???? To make matters worse, the damn republic doesn't have any kind of defense or army. Literally, they have no defense as a single ship actually managed to invade the planet and attack the Jedi temple. Seriously, if they were that vulnerable the Sith would have simply bombed the Senate and separated the Republic. Or any terrorist could have done the same. The Jedi are also pathetically weak, with some temple guards dying to chitauri cannon fodder and the masters and Jedi inside the temple ignoring the fight and leaving everything to Yoda, the MC and the Guards.

It's been a while since I read something stupid like this. How the hell does a single ship manage to invade the capital of the republic? If it were that easy, the Sith would simply bomb a senate meeting and that would tear the republic apart. Besides, Thanos isn't stupid, how does he expect the mission to be successful like that? Even if they enter the planet, it will be impossible for a single ship to leave with Coruscant's defensive fleet, much less escape Republic territory.

In my understanding, the republic does not have a permanent army but all the planets have their own troops. I believe it's something like Game Of Thrones where the republic calls in troops from all planets if necessary.

The problem here is that eating spoiled food is basically eating poison. It's not really nutritious and will do more harm than good
