The story and chemistry between characters is quite interesting. However I couldn't like it when the author inserted herself in the story. Her interactions with ML are cute but at the same time felt foreshadowing the relationship between main characters.

LIKEI actually wanted to point that one time when book Lu Shui hinted something, which she as a character wouldn't know, but you as the real author would know. She hinted Shen Jingwei that Yan Renzhong is different and so they should communicate. Now, book Lu Shui barely knows Shen Jingwei, and apart from that scandal, not much about SJW and YRZ relationship would be known to others. So I felt this was not book Lu Shui but the real author you who was telling us that Shen Jingwei might actually give YRZ the benefit of doubt.
Lu_Shui:I am intrigued. Make a guess about what might happen π
Are you absolutely sure that book Lu Shui doesn't know anything beyond the scandal between the two actors? πππ And did SJW obediently follow book Lu Shui's hint?

Ok let's say she knows more about their relationship π . But since SJW didn't know her before, it's clear that all she knows was told to her by someone else, maybe YRZ. So she is still a stranger to SJW and ideally shouldn't have much idea about how he actually feels towards this whole situation (other than some general speculation). And yet she does as she spoke with so much conviction without even SJW telling her anything. As a reader, it's hard to overlook this once you start noticing it.

Kekeke~ At the risk of spoiling this to other readers... ah the chapters are free anyway. What you said just now is correct, that's why SJW did not react well when book Lu Shui gave him that piece of advice. And book Lu Shui did apologize for being too outspoken, despite not hearing SJW's version of the past. Maybe book Lu Shui knew enough to make a judgment or she is simply partial πππ But of course author Lu Shui is not partial, author Lu Shui loves her subjects equally πππ Don't worry, I am not trying to start an argument with you or something. Readers may or may not share this author's opinion. I fully understand if book Lu Shui's presence agitates you β€οΈ

Hey her presence doesn't agitate meπ . I even liked her before she gave him advice. I just wanted my review to be short and so I wrote that I couldn't. In fact I am quite relieved you cleared that she was just being biased and nosy and not actually becoming like some omniscient narrator. And ngl, I am really invested in this story and maybe went a bit too far on little things. Anyways, a compliment is a compliment. Keep writing β₯οΈ
