This is the first time I am reviewing a novel and I must say that it was an interesting read. you get hooked by the FL and ML, and the reason behind their character is undoubtedly very good. The story is even good, it will hook you with it's climax and all BUT.... But you'll be left by an ending so abrupt that you'd be like "huh?" it feels like it was rushed and it feels like there were a lot of questions left unopened... 1. what happened to the evolved aliens mingling into human society 2. whats with the premonition of the dream of FL about the twins picking up red beads 3. Whats with the future seance about xiao ai and cpt. Ji My God it's like asking the readers to fill in the blanks because author decided that I want to end this this way...like wth!!! so you can still spend to read at your own discretion..the story is worth it...but the ending is just ughhhh!

I have finished reading this book and i mst say I am little disappointed with author. i am unable to understand ending(maybe j was reading raws) but if we put it aside, author hinted that Xiao Ai will marry Captain Ji but in the latter part of the story author didn't explain it. author had drop a lot of hint in some chapters but didn't explain those hints, for example author hinted Lu Tong will become a tycoon when grows up Xiao Ai will marry Captain Ji that red python backstory reason why Tang Zilin or Su Shu died in their past life and about Shen Han and Shen family...
