This makes no sense. Billy wasn’t watching hughie before he died, he would not be interested in him or even know about him if robin didn’t die. He was only interested in hughie because hughie was able to get into the vought building To make this more interesting this self insert should of been after a-train killed robin. There would be more tensions and story that way. Right now it makes no sense. Billy would not be interested in hughie.

But what about if he was passing by?
Bruh if your only excuse is a bad plot device for the story to continue whether it’s canon or not, then that shows how bad you as a writer are, especially if you have to constantly comment what happened in the fic so the readers aren’t confused.

I mean you could go with that. But it still makes no sense on why he would be intrested in hughie. If robin doesn’t die why would hughie think supes are out of control. He would not have the drive or the anger to side with billy. And billy would have the no use of him because hughie would not be able to get into the vought building without robins death.
