However, the MC grows into a confident, powerful, and composed figure. No long-term cringe. He becomes the kind of MC you want to root for. 2. Quinlan’s morality: He’s not a sadistic villain. He won't torture puppies or civilians for fun. However, he’s greedy, shameless, and opportunistic. If burning a city wins him a war, he’ll do it without being haunted by his actions afterward. He's ruthless toward strangers when necessary, but doesn't delight in cruelty. 3. Regarding slaves: Yes, Quinlan becomes a slave master. However, he treats all his women—free or enslaved—with care and respect. 4. More than smut: Every love interest has a real story, a real presence. No girl will be left behind. As of Chapter 750, Quinlan has 7 lovers and 13 ongoing love interests. This is not a "catch them all" story, adding one girl every 10 chapters. I prefer harems with girls of richly developed characters over giant harems full of shallow ladies. 5. Balanced storytelling: Romance, action, and slice-of-life blend naturally. Ok so for the people looking to see if you should red this, I’m going to be very honest…the starting is kinda off coz the author just behave writing and he takes a while to get into his flow, but once he does the novel quality improves greatly…the main character is relatable, and the BEST part is that none of the Harem members are forgotten and each get equal screen time and interactions with the main character and the story in general. Every character is really well done, there have even been characters who first came off as obnoxious and arrogant, but they go through great character development and grow on you. So please do give it a try. It’s a great slice of life harem story, the main character is a villain who does what’s needed for himself, but he has morals he doesn’t go after innocent people and just slaughter cities for fun he is willing to rob and kill if they help him reach his goals, he mostly kills bad guys but he’s not one to be a hero for no reason especially when him and his loved ones could be in danger.

A marvelous example of what not to write. A truly cursed piece of literature that belongs in the realm of trash. Authors of novels like these like to think of themselves as sophisticated individuals that're challenging the norm by writing harem cr*p, while in reality they're just insecure edgy mor*ns who get off on writing stuff like this.

this is one of the rare few good webnovels on here, everything is great about it. author replies to readers and posts daily consistently. the mc can be a bit annoying at times but thats rare and hes a great mc for the most part.
