The system doesn't make sense to me. The plot seems forced just to make mc miserable. For example, the mc was fed poison which the body absorb but the system (yes this novel is one with system) prevent the mc from taking the potion bath. I mean if you want to make mc miserable, make it more reasonable!

To be honest from what I could make out it isn't certain whether that poison actually worked or not. The story keeps going about it just being a possibility that he might awaken divine blood but never says it's certain. Plus what was most likely the system message about the poison just sort went like "something seemed to pass by in front of his eyes but Li Hao had already fallen asleep". So it could be the system did block the poison, considering it also blocks injury healing medicine, and maybe it even blocked his divine blood as well.

(Read up to 33 chapters) Rating: 4.8 This one is a great read it made me review even though i havent' for the past 2 or 3 yrs. Story: There is no forced plot, the schemes of his enemies were well crafted and his reactions to the attempts against him was masterful. The golden finger is not OP and not easily abused and yet it gives him a lot of advantage on his cultivation. Character: I approve of the MC's actions, he is cunning and is reactive to the schemes of those around him. He has great sensitivity on the actions of other characters and his personality is in line with his background story. Translation: There are little errors on gender but generally the translation is well done and consistent. This story definitely has great potential and I hope more of you readers will enjoy this novel as much as I did ❤️

It was edible until the father returned The main feature of this story was the fact that it was not too focused on cultivation bullshit. Funny characters, good humour. But eventually the author ran out of ideas and the story became mid cultivation book. But when the father returned... So much drama, repeating things over and over, it's just unbearable

It's been so long since I found a good cultivation novel. I am glad I found this. I have never cried so badly from reading a cultivation genre at 3 am. Li Hao's parents don't deserve him. To all chancing upon this book, give this a chance and you won't regret it.

Translation quality is acceptable with minor spelling mistakes and occasional gender mistakes. The overall story is a bit dull but the core idea is original and catches the eye hard. The problems are preferential and them are 1) MC doesn't proactively seek more arts to gain points. Which slows pace a huge margin. 2) Cultivation system is too inconsistent in my eyes. While there is a good and hard work from author when he make a good math of power for each technique and layer - the idea that each realm needs different techniques, and variety of them at that, wich don't even have to be related to each other gives a strong feeling of Lego. Accumulation of techniques gives quantitative amass of strength like training and not qualitative enhancement of cultivation. Some techniques don't even allow to master the realm to perfection... You'd better introduced complete cultivation arts that encompass all the necessary sub-techniques for different realms but have solid and overall attributes
