First 29 chapters have a decent pace and interesting development of family arc. It could've been some of those best feel-good stories if it did not have a very casual and light-hearted take on R*pe. Like seriously, the fl seemed to be relieved at the fact that her R*pist isn't ugly. The R*pe is even justified by pointing how he was drugged and how sorry he was. This really ruined it for me.

It’s frankly sickening to read how lightly and nonchalantly it’s mentioned that the FL was raped by ML. And that despite such a horrific incident, seeing her casually interacting and bantering with the ML thereafter makes me want to throw up! I just can’t get over this and having to pay to read about the budding romance between the rapist and the victim are giving me violent urges. It ain’t my cup of tea 🍵
