It’s a poorly translated and edited chinese novel that has terrible dialogue and decent descriptions. You’re going to be treated like you don’t know Harry Potter as the translation goes into believing your a first time reader of it, pointing out things that are excrutiatungly simple and obvious at wvery turn.

I was initially interested in the music aspect with how it fits into wizarding world. But this author focuses on the storytelling aspect of a bard rather than the music so i got bored. The world traveling was interesting but the worlds he traveled to where rather boring for me. If he went to more interesting worlds i would have stayed. Im dropping from c152.

I read around 60 chapters, and my honest opinion about the story would be something around 3.2/5 But I'm giving it a 5 to encourage the continuation of the translation and because it's a good story. About the story itself, we have an MC who flirts between being an EDGYLORD and a GOOD GUY, at least that was my interpretation of him, though I might have misunderstood. There are two main plots: the common storyline at hogwarts and his magic life, there’s no hard protagonist stealing. Harry Potter mantain its main story, the MC just minds his own business, and that’s it. The MC sometimes try be an nice guy helping others, sometimes indiferent and cold. It feels more like he’s a Slytherin pretending to be a good guy at the end of the day. Then there’s the other plot about his journeys through other fantasy stories. In my opinion, they are generally plot ruiners, as nothing really relevant has come from them so far. It gives me the feeling of watching Naruto filler episodes or something like that. I just find it boring. As for the writing or rather the translation, it's fine. Besides that, expect a Chinese romance; it has a slower pace with a lot of environmental detail, variations in points of view, and constant reaffirmations of personalities. In other words, it’s a naturally denser and slower story. That's it. I'll keep reading, and if my view on the story changes, I'll update my feedback.

Excellent book always has me asking for more,personally I liked the mc personality quite a bit

a beautifully written story, the word play is quite charming, and the storyline is well crafted, the character is quite good too, Mc is his own personal and not someone changing things to benefit himself, overall it's a good story. not for the author: in the second year try to add some conversations with Luna Lovegood. her role in the story is truly of a background character and with her personality she is a good match for our mc, it can also turn into love later in the story. i would love to see them together. thanks for the great experience of reading this well crafted novel. One of a great fanfictions novel about HP. Though, I was left unsatisfied.

I rarely give 5 stars, but this deserves it. Great translation, great writing and I like the MC.
