After reading a few chapters, getting to know and analyzing the protagonist, this was my conclusion: A vulgar guy, with a questionable brain, and an attitude just like those cliché protagonists he complains so much about.

When I refer to the “first chapters” I mean about 50 chapters or so. 😒 The book really seems to reflect the writer perfectly.

Decided to read it since it was free and luckily it was. Ignoring everything off putting with the Mc, his personality, and the system, it’s blatantly obvious that the author goes out of their way to nerf him multiple times. To awaken Qi he all of sudden has to earn 1 billion yuan and instead of converting stolen money to gold he end up leaving it because the author says he doesn’t need it right now. What exactly is the main premise of this novel?? Isn’t the whole point of him doing business and making money to get gold and beat the protagonist?? This Mc is supposedly some business savant in his previous life and all he does is kill and rob people. His businesses are even more of a joke and are forced asf. He has 1 year before he dies and he does what? Produce movies and games… But sure plot allows him to complete everything in a month. Like honestly, he inherits an entertainment company from his current body and he fires everyone from the beginning. At that point why even have an entertainment company at all, just make a completely different one or better yet just copy the company you had in your past life. Can’t say how frustrating it was to read this, the author tries making things intricate but ends up contradicting himself, adding in a bunch of things that don’t really help the story. I will say that the premise is somewhat novel in having an mc who doesn’t know the plot. However, the inclusion of him buying said plot via the system was definitely a mistake. Overall, good idea but it was a fumble.

The synopsis was bait. I thought the story would break cliches or atleast make fun or play with it. But all I got was an occasional comment here and there on how garbage the orginal story was. I laughed a bit on the first chapter with him yelling at the system. When he walked out and bought suits on his underwear I thought he was a lunatic that doesn't take the world seriously but then it was revealed that he was supposed to be a business billioanaire and that he vauled his time a lot. So why did he do that? He could have just ordered someone to buy the suits its not like they took his measurements in the store he gave it to them and how did he even knew the size of the original body he was in? Then a lot of illogical things happened. They thought he was possed by an evil cultivator but no one even bothered to check they just accept it and move on that he became a completely person. Then he fell in love with one of the heroines out of nowhere (well it felt like that for me anyway) after that he started acting like a teen in puberty that doesn't know what love is. Then the crimes and trials which I will admit is entertaining but could have been completely avoided if he was smart enough. Killing three people in a motel like some sort of anti hero then leaving camera evidence? Anyway there were a lot of things that left me scratching my head but its ok because it was good junkfood. But all the little things pile up and I just ran out of patience to this story especially when I read the part that he will lose control of his body because of the original owner.

Hope you enjoy this, and Thanks for reading ^_^ P.S: When I started this book I had zero writing experience, so the first chapters aren't that great, although, my writing quality has improved over time. Also, English isn't my first language, so there are some instances where my choice of words are not good enough for what I'm trying to portray. A heads up, the book will be using a medieval setting. My world building is not the best, but it gets better over time, so bear with me on the early chapters! P.S: Cover art not mine I just edited it. GlaringError here! As I have already mentioned in my author review I am restating it here since I am getting tons of comments about it, that I am more of a reader myself than a writer, I made this novel in an attempt to capture my fantasy world residing in my mind into words.. Writing is new for me.. The premise of my novel is inspired by many great works that I have loved over the years. And some elements I have in my novel that are slightly similar to them but it's just the skeleton of it, the real meat of the plot is entirely my own cooking. Some of the influence that is more noticeable is from The Runesmith (By Kuropon), The King's Avatar (By Butterfly Blue) and Shadow Slave (By Guiltythree). I have immense respect for these legends and I can only hope to follow in their footsteps. To all those who comment just by judging the name, at least give it a chance before letting your opinions be known. Thank you.
