Very enjoyable version/remake of “The Novel’s Extra” - while it follows the same plot, I really like that the MC was changed from male to female and the “hero” now has a crush on her. Looking forward to more.

I gotta say, I got this story on my daily reco and I'm glad that I took the plunge to read it. It's quite a fun lighthearted read. I ended up reading up to the privileged chapters (chapter 43) The MC is a fun character. To me, she comes off almost borderline psychotic with the way she talks to her pet owl and system out loud, thereby having random people looking at her weirdly. She's got a very nonchalant attitude, but that also doesn't stop her from giving the same energy back whenever people try her. I like the way the author didn't do the typical "oh I gotta get away from the MC and co. to be an extra!!!"...while doing things that get the MC and their crew's attention. MC here legit goes out of her way to stay with the MC here because she knows she needs to help them, especially seeing how things are changing. I think the story is a bit too early to judge the other characters as atm they need fleshing out, but I trust that the author will get into that once we get more chapters and the more she interacts with the world. Right now as the story is still a bit early, we're only getting snippets here and there of the actual world, but from what we've seen so far it seems promising. While there are some tropes that are reminiscent of other novels of a similar genre, (TNE as one example) I think the author did a good job of putting their own twist into it that kept me engaged. There are a couple of minor grammatical errors and typos, but nothing that would throw you off of your immersion to the story. Now the big thing. The author put paid chapters starting from chapter 20 and while I personally think that it's too early, I hope you readers continue with it anyway. I found it's worth spending my coins on the story as I've found it to be an enjoyable read so far.
