This is my review as of Chapter 17 for those desktop users. Anyways this has every problem that most cliche chat groups have; the MCs with one brain cell revealing every valuable information or futures about the Chat Group members. Let's give an example: If you or I were to wake up today and were presented with a virtual interference in which it was revealed that you were just a fictional character and that you never 'existed' in the real world, how would you feel? Someone who was solely created just to entertain a higher dimensional being which could be especially humiliating if you had a tragic backstory.... Ignoring the absurdity, let's focus on why it was a dumb move: the future information may just be a story to the MC but to the actual Group Chat members it's like an accurate prophecy that's subject to change and instead of the MC using it as a bargaining stick; you instead simply leak it for free.... without getting any compensation in advance......... A dumb MC is a no-go for me; I can handle weak-willed MC's if they eventually get their resolve but a MC who can't think about the ramifications of his actions unless their consequences reach him is not one I can bother with.

LIKEit's just my personal pet peeve; i wish MC monopolized his knowledge because it would be more beneficial for him

no problem, I aims for an MC that isn't perfect and can make dumb decision where he slowly become better.

How would it build trust when it would build suspicion? Like "how does he know so much about my world? is he the creator? if not, is the creator in his world?why did the creator give me so much pain and suffering?" It isn't too much work to pretend you have precogniton or saw a possible future through the chat group and tell them what character to look out for; hence they owe you a favour and you get cleared of suspicion by a convenient excuse
Desire96:well, maybe build trust ??... well you can counter by saying that manipulation using that knowledge and making that character owe the mc multiple times... which is more profitable but too much work
In my opinion, I more believe in the theory that stories, movies, etc are a form of quantum entanglement with our world. While the “Author” does have some influence over the world they like and they are able to change some things, however those worlds are able to influence us as well (for example: by sending the “author” the main flow of the world line, ‘the plot) because with the multiverse theory and the fact that it’s possible that any world is different by the choices made, it’s not impossible for worlds like ‘fiction’ to exist. So I think that authors don’t actually ‘create’ worlds, but instead spread the world ‘story’ into other worlds. Because I like to think that the characters all have lives of their own that are never shown to us. And that even those ‘side characters’ and ‘background characters’ all live their own lives that we never know about. Anyway that’s the way that I think and I am sorry for ranting.
