In my opinion, I more believe in the theory that stories, movies, etc are a form of quantum entanglement with our world. While the “Author” does have some influence over the world they like and they are able to change some things, however those worlds are able to influence us as well (for example: by sending the “author” the main flow of the world line, ‘the plot) because with the multiverse theory and the fact that it’s possible that any world is different by the choices made, it’s not impossible for worlds like ‘fiction’ to exist. So I think that authors don’t actually ‘create’ worlds, but instead spread the world ‘story’ into other worlds. Because I like to think that the characters all have lives of their own that are never shown to us. And that even those ‘side characters’ and ‘background characters’ all live their own lives that we never know about. Anyway that’s the way that I think and I am sorry for ranting.

I know that cultivators are strong existences, however I like to believe that they are only that strong because the worlds they are in have a very loose grasp on the laws that govern their world. So I like to believe that if they went to other worlds that have a firmer grip on the laws, that while they still may be strong, they won’t all be able to just blow entire omniverses out with a sigh, now some may be able to, however that’s just the way I like to imagine it.

The main thing I didn’t like about the character Zhu Zhuqing is that she ‘gave into her fate’ and ended up with Dai Mubai. He really didn’t deserve her. But I can understand that in her family she was raised/groomed to have the thoughts that she had to get married to Dai Mubai and her life and his were connected together and in the fuedal time point of the story and I can somewhat understand it. However she deserved way better than that.

I honestly agree with most of the points that you have brought up against Tang San and his family, I also don’t really agree with your one statement that Tang Hao loved Ah Yin all that much, because as some other fanfics point out; For one when he knew she was a spirit beast and she was pregnant and that it would affect her aura and all that, why didn’t he hide away with her and have the baby secretly instead of flaunting around the continent with her and allowing her to be found out. Sure he might have some affection for her but I don’t think it was that much. There was also the fact that he kept her in a dark damp cave knowing that she was a plant-type soul beast, he should know of the proper conditions for her to be able to grow again. Then there is Tang San who is hypocritical in the sense that he always sends Xiao Wu into the front lines in battle but freaks out when she gets slightly injured. The fact that he can break out with that much power when she gets hurt shows that he had the strength in many occasions to prevent her from getting hurt but he didn’t. I also agree with peoples points that it is all about benefits, because that’s just the way that the world works. For example the empires and major sects would not have sided with Tang San if they did not see a possibility of their own influence increasing with the absence of the Spirit Hall. Now the spirit hall isn’t all puppies and rainbows, they themselves had indeed done something’s wrong and I don’t deny that. However as you said most forms of government/authority are corrupt at some points especially in a dog eat dog world like Douluo continent. Another problem is with both generation of Shura gods screwing over Douluo continent. Shura god messed with the world (and most likely others as well) in order to have Tang San reborn with his memories and have knowledge of things like Ice-Fire Yin-Yang well and immortal herbs and his own cultivation techniques that just so happen to fit into Douluo Continent so well. Not to mention how Tang San also messed with the worlds luck for 10’s of thousands of years. Now onto Xiao Wu, honestly I don’t even know what to say about her, don’t start to mention the fact she was an 100,000 year soul beast and she found herself to beat up some children so she could be the “boss” of the dormitory, she then proceeded to fall in love with a human, don’t even mention what goes on in the story, let’s talk about when she goes to the god realm, not once did she improve the situation of soul beasts on Douluo Continent, nor did she try to remove the ban on soul beasts becoming beast gods, just the fact that she condoned Tang San to mess with the Sacred Beast by implanting his daughter into it, she also had the Silver Dragon King become her daughter in law and the golden dragon king as her son. So she is just as bad, in the story she goes on about how it is bad to kill soul beasts for the soul rings, however don’t mention the fact that this didn’t get changed at any point despite the fact that she was in the god realm or was married to the lead god. You also have to consider the facts that not only do humans hunt soul beast for their soul rings, soul bones, and soul beast meat, Soul beasts also eat humans as well not to mention that they also eat each other as well. So she is both way too sheltered and also too stupid to see the way things work in the world and still says false words, not to mention the fact that Tang San says that he will only hunt “evil” soul beasts. I mean what constitutes them as evil, the fact that they may have eaten humans? Well in the same sense he and most other people in that world can be considered evil for eating the meat of a soul beast, it’s basically the same principle, I mean you gotta do what you gotta do to stay alive, that’s not really evil if you eat what you consider to be food. I mean I my self can complain, just like Soul beasts may eat humans, I in the same sense east meat like pork, beef, chicken, etc. so you can’t judge another race that way just because of what they eat, because in a sense you are no different from them. And sorry at this point I am just rambling on, I still have so much more to complain about, especially about the “Shrek Seven Devils” (excluding Zhu Zhuqing and Oscar, those two are somewhat decent.) and their teachers. I mean come on “Those who do not dare to cause trouble are not monsters” or something like that. I mean it’s just saying for them to bully the weak, you don’t really see them trying to fight against a god or a title Douluo when they were weak, but when they were stronger than them they looked down on them. So it’s a case of Bullying the weak and fearing the strong. And don’t even get me started on Yu Shitstain, sorry Yu Xiaogang. If I go into that can of worms I don’t think that I can stop any time soon. However I am ending my rambling here now.

When I saw those author notes I literally started laughing to myself because I imagine the author just running and sliding across the floor just to interrupt and add them. It was funny.

Honestly, I’m the kind of person that loathes any form of casual sexual relationship. It just doesn’t sit with me, I have no problem if other people like that but I’m a person that only wants to be “intimate” with a person I plan to have a deep relationship with.
