IceYmir:I've read Versatile Superstar and liked, but the author droped, and I've tried Thug to Idol, but the mc there is so dumb and it had so much useless drama that I gave up on that...

Dennis_Dindayal:is this going to be locked behind a "paywall" because I'm reading something else at the moment, that has 220 chapters so far, then I'm also reading another story about a rapper and his come-up... this intrigues me enough that I want to add it to my library but if I have to "pay" to read after 40 chapters then I'll end up dropping as I have WAY more than I need of those types of books to read, I'm still in the 3000s for one particular book and that looks like it's going passed 5000!

Dennis_Dindayal:I've got a Gacha story I'm reading, a Hip Hop novel which I'm pleasantly surprised is a thing, I'm still in the 3000s for The Mech Touch... currently looking for a basketball and football ⚽. When I first started reading on this app I started with the normal CN novels. Had no idea what a Xianxia novel was or that there's a difference between Wuxia and Xianxia novels my first novels were a Video Game novel about a sculptor named Weed and A reincarnated ugly guy who becomes a "Prince Charming" reliving his life all over again. I've found over the years that my type is Slice of Life stuff, Sports, or Hollywood Actor stuff. I wasted enough money on passes and stuff like that that I've decided to read only fanfiction stuff as it's free reading... That's how I found the Gacha novel. The Hip Hop novel: Convict to King I was looking for a Singer novel, half the Chinese Entertainment stuff was good early on but after the first year I saw the pattern and since then I could read 5 chapters and tell you how the entire story would go... I've been pleasantly surprised that the basketball novels usually are usually updated enough that you could see the action... their protagonist could possibly be that successful. With the luck, support and skills given by a system. I used to like the football novels more especially as they were realistic enough... but now they're starting to write unreasonable experiences. I once read a novel called King of Football, had around a thousand chapters I got around 900 chapters in when that story disappeared... a year later another story with the same title, which was similar I started reading but in that one the protagonist was a Chinese shill for the system that ended up winning the World Cup with the Chinese Team. I get that you want your country to win the World Cup but IRL the team isn't even as good as the American team and the American team would be dogwalked by the European team's! Even if your protagonist is the greatest European player in the world (which thereby would make them Best in the World) they're still one person.
