Why there is only good novel recently, I can’t sleep anymore 😭

Not necessarily my cup of tea, however the story reads relatively smoothly, it’s also somewhat unique in being that the story starts with MC being a middle aged man struggling to make ends meet for his family. The system showcased within the story isn’t extremely powerful and it seems it’s been set up for somewhat slow progression, nonetheless, it’s somewhat repetitive and like many other trial reads it’s merely average. Probably good for casual readers and people that enjoy a harmonious family atmosphere within their novels.

slice of life about old construction worker who gets a report of future events and information, what if he knew the liquor store tomorrow would sell a winning lottery scratcher, but how would you know which one, would you buy all of them? he sees a lost dog flyer but person refuses to pay him reward posted. so while the info is real, real life means he won't get advertised rewards. slow and not much action.

the story is great besides a few places where the nouns are inconsistent but overall it is very good 😊 ummm ..... is it available in raw with the title written in English please 🥺'cause I don't know Chinese.

I actually enjoyed the novel from the start, random poor guy gets intelligence system (reveals 10 random facts daily) and rises in wealth and power. Storyline is well-paced and fairly logical with the original idea. Here comes the killer, the author had another soul takeover his body. At chapter 700, the system suddenly changes to a judgement death system. The MC suddenly becomes a loner with no family (his relatives and kids disappear). MC goes from being a wealthy man with great power, to an assassin with a system judging criminals who evade the law. Basically still an intelligence system, but no longer daily and completely scrapping the previous 700 chapters and starting afresh with a new storyline and system power. Dropped the novel after this complete crap change in direction. Author literally had a brain fart, or had no more ideas so decided to flip the table.

The latest chapters of this book are just a unreadable , the story was great in earlier chapters, the story still has botanical with good writing.

It’s actually a pretty good read as of chapter 80. I wouldn’t classify this as slice of life but more as a drama, since the typical idea of slice of life revolves around mundane daily life with little to no plot or character development. This also doesn’t feel like a josei novel, as it’s clearly marketed more toward men than women. Other than the fact that the MC takes care of his wife and daughter, there’s really nothing about it that screams josei. The novel itself is quite unique and enjoyable. We get to watch the MC gradually become rich and powerful through his information system. It’s not a case of getting insanely wealthy overnight—his fortune builds up slowly and steadily. So far, by chapter 80, the MC has earned around 25+ million yuan (about 3.5 million USD). One refreshing aspect is that there’s very little, if any, face-slapping. Instead, the story focuses on wholesome interactions, which is a nice change of pace. The beginning is a bit slow, but things start picking up around chapter 60. So far, there hasn’t been any major threat to the MC, but there’s foreshadowing that trouble is on the horizon. It also seems like the MC might soon establish his “Abyss Organization” after encountering a significant threat, which should be exciting. The idea of the MC becoming a mysterious figure with access to nearly impossible-to-obtain information is pretty intriguing. The characters are also well-written—they’re not just “good” or “bad”; they actually feel like real people. Overall, I’d rate the novel a 7.5/10 and the translation an 8/10. There are some minor grammar mistakes here and there, but nothing serious enough to ruin the experience or cause confusion (like pronoun errors).
