Everything sucks except the update frequency and world background. The same scenario is repeated in the book. MC is very arrogant, has no respect for other people. He looks down on everyone but I think he's just stupid. He's interested in everything except magic. I don't even understand why he's still coming to Hogwarts, all he does is provoke people, at this rate he'll turn the entire wizarding world against him

I don't see where he is provoking people the guy sent many people sprawling but even after that they keep coming like bugs, what I mean to tell is he does not want to have much contact with this world so he is avoiding people as much as possible

If you want a place where people don't care about you, you need to change the environment you were in before. But he didn't do that, he didn't leave even though he knew there was a dark lord in England, or he continued at school even though he was bullied at school. He could have learned the password to his dormitory door by asking the teacher or other students, but he chose to destroy the wall. When someone invited him to follow Tom, he criticized and insulted them when he refused. He wanted to be an ordinary student, but he wandered around the forbidden forest every day.(G.T)

he did not want to hide any of his powers and he crushed the door because he wanted to get rid of trouble, but yeah I except that the author has made others brainless, typical young masters, but u still can at least give four as characters are not 2d and has good word building and proper grammar, and a consistent mc.

I don't think he's talking specifically about my story. The guy is defending his point based on his taste, and you seem to run out of arguments and resort to asking if he's the author? That's really cowardly. Everyone has their own preferences, my friend. Some people think my MC can hurt people's feelings because he's not respectful, but he has a being inside him that's influencing his behavior—or do you expect him to stay the same with the power of the King of the Dead? And just as there are people who don't like it, there are others who do as well.

Unfortunately, your opinion is ridiculous. As a writer you should be open to criticism. I pointed out the parts of your book that I didn't like. The person who is your fan defended it, which is a very good thing, but your reader doesn't accept where your book is missing and thinks that your book is flawless. That's why I asked him if he was a writer, because it shouldn't be the opinion of a fan of a book, he should also accept the flaws of the book and report them to the author. As a writer you have to learn to look at your criticism objectively, and try to write better, otherwise you will always be a fan fiction writer. I hope you can improve yourself and learn to speak to your readers in a better tone.

Do you want him to suddenly change MC's personality? Author already gave him an arrogant and no-care-except-magic personality, suddenly changing it will ruin the book. Sure, your comment might be helpful in the future when he write new novels but saying that a novel sucks just because you don't want a character's personality is kinda too much. You should at least give explanations about the book's flaws for the Author to better himself and not just "I don't like the MC so the book sucks." Your just saying that what's missing and flaws of the book for you is MC's personality (arrogance and idiocy), but that's the Author's setting on the MC and he might have a plan with it. Furthermore, the book is still not finish and the MC might have some character development, what do we know? we are not the Author, right? —BONUS— For the whole fiasco, let me summarize it according to my understanding: You: "Everything sucks except update frequency and world background..." —proceeds to only tell about MC's bad personality. VIJETH: —defends MC You: —further explains MC's arrogant personality and idiotic actions VIJETH: —reasons the MC's arrogant/idiotic personality/actions then admits a flaw of the book that is not MC's character setting You: "Are you the Author? Why do you care?" (My thoughts: he's a reader and he don't like it when someone says that the book he likes sucks just because they don't like the MC) Author: —angry that you're using him against someone who liked his book and defends VIGETH then explains why he made MC's character is like that You: "Your opinion is ridiculous... I hope you can improve yourself and learn to speak to your readers in a better tone." (My Thoughts: 1. What's ridiculous in his opinion? That's his opinion and an Author's opinion on his book is a fact. 1. He didn't deny your criticism though, he even explain why his MC has that personality then you tell him it's ridiculous? 2. VIGETH accepted and even admitted the book's flaws in his second reply. 3. Why should it not be the opinion of someone who like the book? Does haters the only ones who have the right? 4. At least he is writing something... 5. I think he's speaking normally though, did he spoke disrespectfully? wow, I didn't notice.) My Reply: —there's something called "character development" if your only problem about the book is the MC's arrogance and idiocy, it still depends on the Author though.

Your review really made me question myself for a moment, so thank you for that. However, I disagree with you. After re-reading this fanfic, I stand by my opinion - it's poorly written with numerous flaws and I struggled to get through it. While I appreciate different opinions, I think defending such a thing reflects a lack of standards more than the actual quality of the story. Still, it's interesting to see how different perspectives can be."

You’re talking about respecting personal preferences, but the protagonist in this story doesn’t do that at all. He has no respect for others—he mocks what others like or hold dear. And you’re saying that the protagonist went crazy because of the influence of his power? Well, then I’ll just stop reading this. I can accept an evil and wicked protagonist, but the type of character I hate the most is one who justifies their wrongdoings by blaming the influence of their power. And I totally agree—why break the door down? Because you didn’t use your supposedly brilliant brain to remember the weekly passcode that was posted on the bulletin board? The protagonist isn’t Neville, who has memory issues and can’t recall the password. And in class, when the professor asks why he doesn’t take notes, he arrogantly replies that his divine brain remembers everything, so there’s no need to write anything down—then goes on to challenge the professor. Sigh I put this story on hold for so long, thinking it would be about a protagonist who has shadow powers and starts his journey as a child entering school. But instead, he possesses Snape’s body, acts arrogant everywhere, and turns Hogwarts into a mess. If he doesn’t like Hogwarts, he shouldn’t have come in the first place. He could’ve just gone somewhere else, especially since he doesn’t care about magic at all—he only focuses on training his body. Sigh The novel I was eagerly waiting for turned out to be a slap in the face.

I’m not a book critic; I’m just an ordinary reader who enjoys fun and non-annoying novels. I don’t like character development because I feel it’s a waste of time, and I have no way of knowing whether the character will improve or get worse in the future. If the character starts off good and develops to become even better, that’s fine. But if the character is terrible at the beginning and is supposed to develop into a normal person later, I don’t want to wait because I have no guarantee that the wait will be worth it. Enduring a bad start is just frustrating. That’s why I like reading Chinese fan fiction—the protagonist is already good from the start. I only have to see whether they’ll decline in the future or grow stronger. At the very least, it’s not annoying to read. And I skip over nationalistic themes because they’re bothersome. That’s all.

Dude, you want to compare a made-up story with real people's preferences, but I ask you—what's the problem with him breaking the door? It’s like he committed some unforgivable crime. I don’t want to write a cutesy fanfic where everything has to be logical, like going after the password when you're standing right in front of the Slytherin entrance. You do know the notice board is inside Slytherin too, right? After all, anyone could read it if it were out in the open. And where exactly does it say that makes him evil? He simply becomes darker. Have you watched Solo Leveling? Don’t you know Sung Jin-Woo is influenced by the power he receives and becomes more ruthless? Snape doesn’t go around hitting random students—he does it to pure-bloods. Or should he just bow his head to everyone like he did in the past when he was just Severus Snape? Man, you don’t have to like the fanfic or even read it. I’m just saying there are people who enjoy this type of fanfic—I’m one of them. I wrote it precisely because I was no longer satisfied with what I was reading. Everyone has their preferences, and I respect that. I was just replying to the guy up there to say that there are people who like this kind of story. Because if I wrote a goody-two-shoes Snape, there would clearly be people saying they wouldn’t like that fanfic either.
