Do you even know what your saying or are you just annoyed by those phrases??? Those are cultivation novel only type shit and sometimes urban but very rare to have urban unless again cultivation is involved or some sort of saving the beauty etc. But courting death is basically the chinese equalivant to swearing and face slaps happen not just in chinese novels but their portrayed in a different way in western themes. It's just cultural difference to appease to a different audience in china and asia. So sorry if its not centered around western novel values since cultivation type novels came from chinese type culture and therefore is heavily influenced by those themes.
