A very dry travel log. It's not really a story, as there are no characters or action/drama. The whole thing is the MC went there and then he left but then he went there. There is no dialogue and no characterization of people or places. If you read a story set in 300 or so BC, I think almost everyone will be interested to see how people were living in that era. How villages discover different ways to use their limited technology and magic to make life easier for themselves. And their reaction to the MC. A man that should look alien in any community due to his modern upbringing. Just the fact that the Mc can take a bath, with soap, every day and stay clean should seem weird to the natives... Sadly, this is not the story for that. The Mc run around in some forest and gathers flowers and critters and then switches forest. Oh, and he shows that he can list all the spells in Harry Potter....

LIKEI gotta agree with this guy above me. Beyond what he said, the story is poorly organized and difficult to follow. The MC doesnt make very good decisions. This author also created an Odin fanfiction which was pretty interesting, but his stories tend to be dry retellings like reading from a history book. In his Odin novel, the MC had a very wide emotional range and broad vision. The mC in this one just canβt measure up at all. He seems pretty lifeless to me. If the author plans to continue writing in the future, these will be good ways to learn tho.
Ah, yes, the Paladin has come to defend the poor author's honor. How could I dislike his novel. Shame to me for not being overwhelmed with joy at reading something that reads worse then a pirates logbook...
DaoistElxnbZ:Shut up the story and well you are good for nothing without having anything to do that bothers the author
Given the qualities of the character (Big E) it's very hard to write quality writing on such a character, you need only look at the source material to know how much they avoid the character itself. Most of it is from the POV of other characters and their stories that get fleshed out. So I understand the beginning being this way because there are no other characters to focus on yet, but I hope with time this changes and we get a similar experience to the original source.
I don't really know what you are talking about here. Who is Big E? The Emperor from 40K? And the main character here started as a scrub with no knowledge of magic and supernatural stuff. He got progressively stronger during his journey, a very good subject to expand upon and flesh out, no matter how OP the MC is in his potential.
