The dragon egg isn't Cannibal's, it was an egg that escaped the dragon's rampage on it's death throes. Also, there are no 'wild' dragons. The only dragons in the setting are the Valyrian fleshcrafted drakes. All dragon eggs are descendants of Targaryen dragons(including Dany's from the future).
Merlin has no house. In their logic, if he marries her, he'll be part of her house. It's what Rhaella knows. The thing with personal power in this setting is like explaining the concept of germs to a 1200 peasant. Since it's outside their knowledge, they will ignore it and it's complication. She knows, rationally, that Merlin is a powerful person, but she is also bound by her misconception that every powerful person needs land, titles and old aristocratic authority to establish themselves. It's outside her worldview that someone can just say he's God-King of the world and have the power to actually enforce his rule.
Point me is a fan fiction spell that can do anything. From pointing where your keys are to pointing where the exact molecule you need to touch is to become a god.... Accio needs him to have actually held the item he wants to call.

He's right, and it isn't really his own criticism, many said the same about the first part of the first book. Especially the North. We don't know anything about this Kingdom. No villages, no cities, and barely any castles. It's only in the later books that Martin starts to actually focus on the world.
Why are Americans in love with those ugly ass cars?
Ngl, a "I'm pregnant!" joke would have killed it here.
She's his mom, he can just gift her some 20% of a new company. Lucy should be loaded by now to by her own 20%.
He's way too young to write about an abused 11 yo...
While Fidelius is the nuclear option people in westeros are muggles...why no make a ward similar to the one on the Leaky Cauldron? It would be nearly impossible for muggles to find the island unless they have a wizard/witch with them. Or, does the knowledge of the island's location invalidate the ward?
