I am so glad that I came across this novel. It is heart-wrenchingly beautiful. Many readers tend to not read books where the leads already have had someone in their lives. And I would say those stories are actually the hidden gems that readers miss out on due to their prejudices. Some of these stories are thousand times better than the trashy romance stories having no depth to plot and characters. I have only read 30 chapters but already felt the leads' emotions to such an extent that I cried at times. The fl, Jessmyn is so brave for suffering through so much. I feel like she'll become one of my most fav fls. She is strong, independent, feisty, kind and loyal. On the other hand, the ML is also a wounded soul whom you will want to hate yet feel pity for. Both of them have lost so much and suffering. I can't wait to read how they will bridge the gap between them as they have so much remorse, regret, anger, suffering, loss, pain to deal with. The second leads balance out the emotional upheaval by providing the fluff. I swear both of them are so cute😂. I have been a regular reader on this platform and I feel like after so long I am reading a remarkable work compelling enough for me to leave this comment for future readers to not miss out on this story. I am actually dissappointed in myself that I haven't read anything from this author before. As I wait for more chapters, I am going to check out other books from this author.

I admire the FL and want to read more about her. Shes so deep and her character is layered. Shes strong, smart and at the same time has deep resentment which might be a flaw. I am glad to read about a complex character. I'm excited to see how Golda is going to develop her further. The conflict between the leads is very deep. Can it be rectified considering FL's character We will have to wait and see.

A hooking start! Love this author's works. Her characters are fleshed out. Love the FL. We haven't met the ML yet so I can't say much about him. Perfect grammar. FL hates the ML so much. I wonder how the authir will bring them together. Can't wait 😍❤️
