One of the stories with too much nerf. He nerfed the essence powers so much that it would have been far better without any essence power. Because it was an insult to essence power. 27 years and still a weakling. Such a disappointment.

Well I for one can take an overly powerful character and be done with it. But i can't handle when the author's try to Nerf there own MC just cause if they make them too powerful than they won't be able to come up with new content, I mean that's what imagination is for. Why Nerf your character when you can come up with a bigger plot and let your character experience growth.
because no one cares long term about stories that start with 'and then i killed god and the next day i had everything i ever wanted and invaded another multiverse and obliterated everyone through forced manufactured reasons and now there is no way to make the plot whilst staying within the confines of the source material.'
Well then don’t make your MC that powerful in the first place, However once you give MC powers/abilities you best not nerf him lest many readers get upset as it is plan annoying to witness and often times demonstrates bad planning
