He should use his shaman physique perk to 100% succesffuly graft larval tears into his blood or something. Unlike other things, they're capable of shapeshifting and arent just stuck on you awkwardly. Since the base game 'metallic ones' are made artificially by the Nox to create an artificial Lord that could be cool for lore/story. but the 'natural' DLC spirit larval tears could have another effect or something. graft enough larval tears and maybe you could just straight up shapeshift, althoug the reat rune of the unborn might also be needed for that. Also golden flesh/silver blood combo.
