I’m gonna be honest, from what I’ve read, this fanfic doesn’t stay true to original. Normally I’m fine with that, but to me it seems like it was trying to make it appear as if it does. One major change they made that was never called out from what I saw was how they changed a key aspect to awakenings. Awakened individuals are meant to be capped at a level of power and can’t exceed that without years of effort. The author makes it seem like it’s standard affair. The whole reason why Sung Jin-Woo was treated as such a big deal at first was that they thought he reawakened. There was a reason why Jin-Woo was cautious with the information of his growth and why it came as a surprise that he was growing. Hunters can reawaken and grow but never can they train and get any decent growth in power. The people who did train spent years to get out of the lowest of ranks. For the Mc to grow at such a rate shouldn’t just happen and be passed over because it isn’t normal, but it is stated in this Fanfic that it was above average but not as ground breaking. A clear and substantial difference from the Original.

I did say it clearly that I will change the lore of the story. Here Normal awakened can train their powers and even in the OG story, it is the same but as Jin Woo said It is very difficult... Hence why Re-awakeners are put on such a high pedestal... The growth is instant... At least for most of them (Jin Woo excluded) Also I said that they can grow their Mana but later explained that yes, while they can increase the total amount of mana they they hold. It doesn't change their output by much... they can increase the amount of mana they can hold but how much of that mana can you actually release when you cast a spell or do something or the other. Also thanks for noticing, not a lot of people noticed or at least commented on that change
I think personally like it, it’s a nice add on to the story.
