When I think about Eragon, the movie was so different from the book in so many ways I wonder if there has been talks about a second movie. Knowing that essential elements were removed stopping everything happening in the next books.

the main things you can take from the movie are the actors and CGI. the Urgals will be their book versions where they are 6-8 feet tall, have red skin, and large horns.

From the wiki however they do not have red skin and some are more than 8 feet, here is the wiki description "Urgals are mostly humanoid in appearance, with yellow to grayish skin covered in bristle like hair, bowed legs and thick arms. They have yellow , piggish eyes, claws on their hands in place of nails and a pair of long, twisted horns protruding from above their ears. Urgals can be anywhere from six to nine feet tall"

thank you for clarifying this. While i won't religiously follow everything the books have i will try to keep it as authentic as i can.

don't worry, I also don't remember much about some specific things but the wiki helps a lot both with the story and with lore in general

I meant that this movie must have really disapointing for the book's fan. Maybe as much as the Percy Jackson movie.

if you watched the movie before reading the books i would give it a 8/10. after the books makes it a 3/10 just for not following the canon at all.

so im seeing a lot of 'not enough eragon fics' so here are some ive read: 'stronghammer' 'a tale in alagaësia' 'a hermits trek to supremacy' 'instead of arya, i prefer her mom' all worth reading, some better than others but still fun
