I gave this a 1 / 5 a few weeks ago because I mistook it with another story. This story is actually really creative. NON OP MC Using science and involving muggle experts Using politics & outsmarting opponents instead of brute forcing it Actually this story is great. The translation is great too... not even that obvious that it's a chinese story. The translator does a great job localizing it by getting rid of a ton of chinese idioms. Overall this story is great. Might actually pay 5 bucks to read the rest on his patreon. Keep up the good work.

But the story is... very chinese, stranger, stupid and messy. The protagonist is autistic or suffers from a mental illness, since his unpredictable and psychotic behavior is totally inexplicable, which does nothing to help build or identify with his character. Maybe the fact that he was Asian in his other life is what makes him seem mentally ill and a danger to others.
