I don't really normally write reviews, however I saw a lot of one star reviews which in my opinion is a bit of injustice towards this novel. What motivated me to write this review is that the author did not delete the negative reviews (like other authors on this app) which I really appreciate. Now on the actual review: The story is not bad as we follow the rise of a person from the slums to the top of the world. The main character and the original supporting characters are well done in my opinion. My issues with this novel ar3: 1- The MC's impact on canon is minimal (especially when he transmigrated a long time before the canon starts). 2- His paranoia at the beginning of the novel to hide himself from the hunter association. This does not make sense as there is no prior indication that the association targets unofficial Nen users. 3- The long flashback which spanned around 35% of the novel. A flashback should be short and add context to the story, not tell the story from a flashback as all the tension disappear. Overall an average story that could be much better 3.8/5.
