I made it a grand total of 8 and a half chapters before stopping at the part when the mc didn’t want to higher a hunter to teach him nen simply because "I don’t want to attract attention"…… from who? 8 chapters in and you’re already hiding from imaginary people that keep there eyes out for kids learning nen. Seriously… who cares about you man!? Your a nobody who could possibly be looking for you? Author give me 3 reasons on why he shouldn’t of hired a hunter to learn nen in chapter 8 and I’ll continue reading. If you can’t then there was no reason other than you felt like it. And why just why would you make the mc partner up with someone who already failed in making a business? I’m extremely tired of people making excuses to prolong arcs in a story because they "don’t want to attract attention"

hmm though I haven't started reading the story Maybe he didn't want to attract attention because of his new ability if he has unlocked one, If he hasn't then maybe he didn't want to be recruited into the hunters side or something.You know like if u show exceptional talent then maybe people will be after u or something.Or maybe he came from Meteorcity or something and doesn't have an ID I doubt that would be important.Also the Hunter who teaches him Nen is also important.If the mentor is trash at teaching then it could possibly affect the student.Or it could be because he's already a criminal or something.If I did a crime like murder I'd definitely not go to a police station and ask them to teach me how to fire a gun or something.hmm what else, Maybe he needs a hunter license and does not have one so he's skeptical on looking for a hunter to help him.Well anyway those are my off the top guesses havent read the novel and I'm not going to thanks to these reviews but yeah

I don't really normally write reviews, however I saw a lot of one star reviews which in my opinion is a bit of injustice towards this novel. What motivated me to write this review is that the author did not delete the negative reviews (like other authors on this app) which I really appreciate. Now on the actual review: The story is not bad as we follow the rise of a person from the slums to the top of the world. The main character and the original supporting characters are well done in my opinion. My issues with this novel ar3: 1- The MC's impact on canon is minimal (especially when he transmigrated a long time before the canon starts). 2- His paranoia at the beginning of the novel to hide himself from the hunter association. This does not make sense as there is no prior indication that the association targets unofficial Nen users. 3- The long flashback which spanned around 35% of the novel. A flashback should be short and add context to the story, not tell the story from a flashback as all the tension disappear. Overall an average story that could be much better 3.8/5.
