I'll never understand people's fascination with making characters who don't want to kill, kill. It always happens with Batman fanfics; he always ends up killing. Killing is the easy way out, the path most would take, but specifically because of that, we're not heroes and they are. It would be so easy for Spiderman to kill his villains, but he chooses not to, and that's why he's one of the best heroes in Marvel.

Um… because it’s a good way to get yourself and everyone around you killed. I mean a good portion of tragedies that heroes faced in DC was due to their “no kill” rule. I’m not saying I could kills someone, but killing isnt “the easy way” to go about things. For a normal person, killing people is sickening. One of the reasons I avoid DC is because their heroes all have complexes and when someone decides not to adhere to their delusions, everyone freaks out and that person is now a villain who is treated the same way as the joker.
