raw = original untranslated book, op = over powered, mc = main character. OP MC is the same as having a Mary Sue character. This references Star Trek when they had a popular fandom writer do some episodes and it bombed because Mary Sue, the name of the character in the episodes in question, was basically the authors self insert power fantasy and most of the fans watching the show hated it.

That’s why I created a list to track these kinds of books. The dramas? Don’t expect with the acting though. It felt like a low budgeted IP Drama when you watched it. The characters are not as beautiful as you would imagine. These uploaded dramas were shortened by cutting off several episodes just to fit that 1-2 hours viewing time.😤 Though the one produced by Tencent is better. But they don’t post the complete dramas there. Usually just some teasers. They have a couple of dramas uploaded but I don’t know for sure if it was fully uploaded or some parts were cut off.😇 YOu can search it on YouTube. You can feel that some of them are based on books. There were 2 dramas that were exactly the same thing… plagiarized from each other. Just like these books on WN. A lot of them are plagiarized from other books.😤

Well, you can have an OP character that is not Mary Sue, but this is rarely done well. Mob Pyscho 100, One Punch Man, and Overlord are examples of OP main characters done well. A good example of Mary Sue is Goku from Dragonball Super, Goku from Dragonball Z (after they get Dende), and Kirito from Sword Art Online. There are others, but I chose examples that should be easily reseachable if you haven't seen them before. I am referring to the titles anime.
