This is the story of a psychopath. More than just an "Evil MC", he's evil for no real reason. The first chapter tries to set a foundation for the MC's mental state, but it doesn't entirely mesh with who he is - by chapter 8 he's a mass serial-killer, murdering beloved characters for the sake of murdering them. The character feels very one-dimensional so far, but aside from this the story is fairly well written. Proper grammar, good sentence structure, etc. If the author can get a handle on a bit clearer character design it could make for a decent villain story... I legitimately wish I could rate this novel lower due to distaste of the MC, but by Webnovel's rating system, this IS generally well written and I cannot argue that. I really enjoyed the story up till the point he went full-on murderhobo.

LIKEwhat are you on about snow flake? ive read alot of fanfics that has the mc kill for no reason but this is not one of them, this mc is simply not a pushover and he even gave them a warning first. i'd be disappointed if the mc turn into a slave while having the power to oppose them just because he doesnt want to kill a lot of people (people here means the army, not even civilians lol)
I'd be disappointed if he let himself become a slave as well; I'm not opposed to killing in and of itself, I'm opposed the lack of exploration of options before killing. Killing Eddard was entirely unnecessary, stemming from his desire to continue living in his forest shack - a shack he is forced to leave regardless. His first choice is murder with no consideration shown for other options - yes, he warned them, but he unnecessarily stood his ground when his entire lifestyle didn't require him to. MC is a psychopath because his first leap was murder. MC is a psychopath because he accepts it so easily. MC is a psychopath because he made it his only choice instead of thinking of CLEARLY BETTER alternatives. MC is a psychopath because he clearly had time, clearly had options, and clearly sat still premeditating the kill. The MC kills to avoid a minor inconvenience, only to force themselves into a greater inconvenience - he had better options. Honestly, if he didn't have the inventory or effortless Wolf Army I wouldn't even question it so much, but he really didn't need the house with his current lifestyle - if anything, it basically just got in the way.
It's called 'conditioning.'The system picked up 'roles' for him, which is Shaman/Hunter, he is unhinged from early because part of him still thinks ', It's okay. It's a dream.'Eventually, he will forget about that part, and he won't care. But yeah, he won't pick other options because they are either run away or listen to the lord 🤷🏻
exactly he was defending himself
he has no obligation to the Lords or kings and he shouldn't have to leave his own land yeh some people might not agree about the wars but in all honesty those people probably has killed a lot some point it's literally like middle ages everyone could be considered a psychopaths
sorry sent message to wrong person I'm really tired 😩
There is a non-pushover that does what needs to be done, willing to kill but not overboard, and then there is killing with no remorse and empathy for human life no sparing people, not even guilty thoughts in his mind. I hope to dare god he gets some humanity in him so he feels bad killing people who are just following orders and not bad people at heart. My opinion would change if the MC gains a human heart in later chapters.
But he spared The Civilians and only killed the nobles and Soilders who refused to surrender dudes Honestly Much Much Better than most in that age If anyone else in that time period was in MCs place Well let's just say about 1/3 the Civilians would already be dead and about 500+ Women and Girls would have become toys He's MUCH more "humane" than 80 percent of people back then It's simply You denying History and the fact it's being shoved so blatantly in front of you is annoying you that's wat my man It's actually better than most even modern wars are often worse than that *cough* Vietnam war where multiple American Soilders had their way with multiple girls and women being a more resent example why do you think it's also called "The forgotten War" Because it's Americans First and biggest shame proving their no better than Imperialism when it comes to "Morality" Their Enemies No more no less thou if you still insist he is in the wrong How about you go learn about the actual world like a Man not a child hiding behind "Good" and "Evil" the MC isn't even "Evil' but "Chaotic Neutral" Had he been "Evil" well Let's just say 1/2 the book would have been R18 filled with Gore, Torture, R@93 and much more Oh sure he could have fled as a alternative In that case Why don't you try living in the woods for 2 weeks No communication with other humans no Convience of Modern Humanity You Build yourself a Axe from Flint, Stick and vine You build yourself a stone spear You Hunt your own game and If you can actually Last 2 weeks Then Just Then You have a Minor Right To say he's "Evil" for you have actually taken a Mere glimpse upon him oh and have someone Hire a Group of 50~ Men to Hunt you down and try to kill you after the first 10 days for the next 4 days Then and just then will you have experienced 1/1000th of what the MC has before he killed them
